Portugal is a country with immense fossil wealth. From the North to the South, in the continent and in the archipelagos it is possible to find fossil specimens of the most distinct taxonomic groups. Even some species of ancient beings are only found in our country.

In collaboration with national museums and research centers, we aim to bring together the most diverse exhibition of Portuguese fossils, located in Room 124 of the Colégio Espírito Santo, University of Évora. With this exhibition, we want to show to the public that richness.

In parallel, and in strict collaboration with the Virtual Museum of Biodiversity, we will have a digital replica of the exhibition that allows a free visit from anywhere in the world. This virtual exhibition will present more information about each piece and the respective entity to which it belongs, examples that can not be in the physical display due to its dimensions, and other curiosities.
