Portugal is a country with immense fossil wealth. From North to South, on the continent and in the archipelagos it is possible to find fossil specimens of the most diverse taxonomic groups. Even some species of ancient beings only found in our country.

In close collaboration with the Centro de Ciência Viva de Estremoz, the Sociedade de História Natural and the Paleontology Laboratory at the University of Évora, it was possible to bring together a wide variety of fossil pieces, taxidermized and replicas in a single exhibition held in room 124 of Colégio Espírito Santo, University of Evora.

The Virtual Biodiversity Museum was also present at the event and will soon present the new version of the project website, with a section entirely dedicated to fossils found in Portugal.
